TYPES OF MODULAR KITCHENS

Straight Kitchen

This is a one wall kitchen. Straight Kitchens are the most effective solution for a narrow kitchen. The layout puts all appliances and cabinets along one wall which makes it less space consuming, economical and allows space for movement. The storage cabinets are placed overhead making them convenient, easier to reach and space efficient.

L - Shaped Kitchen

This is the most popular layout and is perfect for a small/medium sized kitchen. The versatile L-shaped kitchen consists of countertops on two adjoining walls that are perpendicular, forming an L. This shape solves the problem of maximizing corner space, provides more working counter space, more space for storage and avoids clutter. Movement around the kitchen is easy. You can also add a dining space and multiple work zones to this layout.

I Land Kitchen

A bigger spaced kitchen looks more elegant. I – Land Kitchen is possible for homes with a large kitchen area. It allows a designer to provide many cabinets including tall unit/s for storage, more drawers to put ready cutlery trays/ dividers, pull out units and magic corners. I - Land works as an addition to your wall kitchens cabinets and can provide a place to eat (with stools), to prepare food (with a sink & gas top) and to store beverages (with a cooler).

U/C Shaped Kitchen

The U/C or Horseshoe layout has three walls of cabinets and working counter. Here the cook-top, refrigerator and sink are arranged for efficiency & convenience. The layout provides plenty of countertop & cupboard space, and excellent usage of space for a convenient working triangle. Everything is easily reachable. An island can also be incorporated at the centre in these types of Kitchens.

Parallel Kitchen

This efficient, “lean” layout is ideal for smaller spaces. The parallel kitchen, also called a walk-through kitchen, is characterized by two walls opposite of each other - or two parallel countertops with a walkway in between them. They make the best use of every square inch of space, and there are no troublesome corner cabinets to configure. It also helps in movement and reaching for goods from one cabinet to another while cooking.
